Again on Tuesday, we found ourselves in an unsettled state (although clouds were higher and thinner, later in the day). <\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/6_74c854.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1741008\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Recent Florida rain can be tied to typical Sea Breeze boundaries forming and merging during the daytime.  It\u2019s classic and expected since we\u2019re in the very middle of our Rainy Season.  Still, recent rain has been especially heavy due to a fetch of deep moisture trapped in place.  This tropical air is indicated below on water vapor imagery.  Think of it as a picture capturing \u201cwhat we can\u2019t see, but definitely feel\u201d with high-moisture air over the region.   It\u2019s stuck due to an upper low (north and west) and big High Pressure to our east.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Blog-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1741009\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Could this trapped tropical air spell a wet Wednesday?  The answer is yes, but not an all-day affair.  We\u2019ll instead watch for scattered activity.  There\u2019s a twist ahead, however, and that involves Timing of rain and storms.  Instead of waiting for building clouds, rain and storms into the afternoon hours, we\u2019ll experience earlier action.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Blog-2-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1741010\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Morning showers (as indicated in the future radar above) could happen as you step out the door and head to work.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Blog-3-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1741011\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The main difference in timing is the result of the Bermuda High finally taking over and strengthening over the Atlantic.  With this change, wind speeds will elevate and keep us with the potential for \u201canytime showers\u201d.  We\u2019ll continue to watch for periods of rain over the remainder of the week.  As you encounter some of these rainy times, keep in mind they won\u2019t be as long lasting in this pattern.
