JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 UPDATE 2:06 p.m. – JSO confirms Chace Brown has passed away. We will update you as soon as more information is released.<\/p>\n

ORIGINAL STORY – The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office is asking the public for help finding 7-year-old Chace Brown, who left his Northside home Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

JSO said Chace was last seen just before 7 a.m. leaving his home off of Broward Road near I-95.<\/p>\n

Around 1:40 p.m., an Action News Jax crew spotted investigators searching a pond at Egret Branch Way and Broward Road.<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s office said Chace\u2019s family shared that he is autistic and non-verbal.<\/p>\n

Chace was last seen wearing a white tank top, black Super Mario shorts, and blue Crocs. He is 4\u203203\u2033 and has brown eyes and short black hair.<\/p>\n
