(CBS12) \u2014 Firefighters quickly extinguished a boat fire Wednesday afternoon at a home in Stuart, preventing the flames from spreading, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/search?find=Martin+County+Fire+Rescue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Martin County Fire Rescue<\/a>, crews responded just before 3 p.m. to the 1600 block of Northwest Fork Road after reports of a boat on fire.<\/p>\n<p>When firefighters arrived, they found thick black smoke billowing from a small boat sitting on a lift at a residential dock.
