TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – High school football isn\u2019t the only sport we\u2019re talking about this time of year, as volleyball is getting ready to kick off their season, and the back-to-back defending State Champion Chiles Timberwolves will have a lot of new faces on the court this fall.<\/p>\n
A lot of this year\u2019s team was on the varsity team last year, and now it\u2019s their time to shine. Head coach Kaitlin Jahn noting how hard this team has worked all summer. They know the program they\u2019re representing and they\u2019re looking to maintain that standard.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m excited for this group to have their chance on the floor,\u201d she said. \u201cI think we\u2019re going to shock some people with how dynamic and strong we are. We had such a dominant senior class last year. These girls got to train with that group. Of course they were a big part of that state championship last year, but this year they\u2019ve taken the reins and continue to build on the success that we did.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chiles opens the regular season August 18th at home against North Bay Haven.<\/p>\n
