{"id":365488,"date":"2026-08-07T18:12:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T18:12:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/365488\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T18:12:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T18:12:15","slug":"tv-pilots-plot-will-revolve-around-disney-world-ride","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/365488\/","title":{"rendered":"TV pilot&#8217;s plot will revolve around Disney World ride"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A potential television show based on <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyworld.disney.go.com\/destinations\/epcot\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Epcot\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyworld.disney.go.com\/attractions\/epcot\/spaceship-earth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spaceship Earth<\/a> attraction is in the works for streaming on <a href=\"http:\/\/disneyplus.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Disney+<\/a>, according to a story published by the <a href=\"http:\/\/hollywoodreporter.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A pilot has been ordered, and the plot will use the ride\u2019s journey through time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a mission to avert an imminent global cataclysm goes awry, a small band of teenagers from Earth\u2019s past and future must join forces to confront a threat as vast and mysterious as time itself,\u201d the show\u2019s logline says, according to the long-running Los Angeles-based trade paper.<\/p>\n<p>Spaceship Earth is the iconic giant-golf-ball-looking attraction near the front entrance of the theme park. It is an opening-day attraction at Epcot, the second theme park built at <a href=\"http:\/\/disneyworld.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walt Disney World<\/a>, debuting in 1982.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the structure is a dark ride that climbs past scenes capturing global advances in communication and technology.
