The father of missing Florida teen Sophia Cover told The Post he believes she may have been coerced into leaving their home \u2014 and revealed her phone went dark just hours after her overnight disappearance.<\/p>\n
Richard Cover, 54, said nothing seemed amiss before his 16-year-old daughter mysteriously vanished around at 12:45 a.m. on July 31 \u2014 less than two weeks before she\u2019s set to return to high school. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I think that somebody convinced her to leave under the false pretenses,\u201d Cover told The Post Friday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cover said Sophia enjoyed seeking out attention from others and \u201ccould see my daughter being coerced\u201d by someone to leave her home.<\/p>\n
