The Cape Coral Fire\u00a0<\/a>Department\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Cape Coral Animal Shelter have teamed up to create a “Rescue Meets Rescue” calendar featuring firefighters and adoptable pets.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartnering with\u00a0the\u00a0Cape<\/a>\u00a0Coral Animal\u00a0<\/a>Shelter\u00a0<\/a>in\u00a0this fun and meaningful way allows us to highlight not only the dedicated men and women who serve our city, but also the animals who bring so much love and joy to our lives,\u201d said Fire Chief Mike Russell.<\/p>\n

Calendars are available for a $20 donation at ccfdfoundation.org<\/a>, the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, or CCFD Fire Headquarters. They will also be sold on November 15 during the CCFD Open House and at the CCAS Yard Sale at Wicked Dolphin Distillery.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love the \u2018rescue meets rescue\u2019 spirit of this project,\u201d said Liz McCauley, Executive Director of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.<\/p>\n
