Meet stylish Bianco, an 11-year-old Maltese owned by Eddy Paez.

Paez, who got Bianco from a neighbor, has owned him since he was a 10-week-old puppy.

“He was a little puffball,” Paez said.

Bianco, which means white in Italian, is friendly; when he and Paez take their walks on the west side of Miami Lakes, he stops to greet everyone.

“He is everybody’s friend, he greets everyone like he has known them forever,” Paez said.

Though Bianco likes people, he is a bit more selective about other pets and may hesitate at first.

Paez said that Bianco is also very observant and if he sees a neighbor, he’ll stand at attention and observe.

When Bianco isn’t out and about on foot, he’s in the car.

“He enjoys car rides and having the wind in his face,” Paez said.

Paez said that Bianco is very active despite his age. He had two surgeries early in life for leg issues, but he still takes three walks a day.

Despite this, Bianco is a true lap dog and enjoys spending time with Paez on the couch.

“He enjoys being a lap dog and dozes off watching TV,” Paez said.

While Bianco is chill, he doesn’t like loud noises and will bark if he hears them.
