C.L.A.S.S. Steakhouse Soiree,<\/a> and the owner told NBC6 that they\u2019ve been offering the nude dining experience for the past three months.<\/p>\nAnd the goal is simple: keep the business going in a tough economy.<\/p>\n
“C.L.A.S.S. is an acronym for culinary, luxury and superb service,” Murad Ali said.<\/p>\n
Ali is the owner and chef at C.L.A.S.S and said that they’ve been running for about eight years, and while patrons can enjoy a meal any day of the week, there is one night a month where things look a little different.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first Monday of every month, we have our host, our nude dinner, when guests can take their clothes off and enjoy a great dinner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Ali said that when the blinds go down, the clothes come off<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s legal because the windows are completely blacked out,” he said. “No one can see from outside. Our staff are fully clothed, so there\u2019s no entertainment from us. It\u2019s just dinner. That\u2019s what makes it legal.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ali told NBC6 that the idea came after the restaurant hosted a private party for nudists.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnce the event was finished, my idea said, ‘Let\u2019s do it ourselves,’\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Now, the experience is open to adults, with a five-course meal and a few extra layers of cleanliness.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a robe that everyone is offered, we have a leather seat cushion, which is sanitized, and we also have a lap towel,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The concept may not be for everyone, and Ali said that\u2019s exactly the point.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is not your grandpa\u2019s steakhouse, this is chef Ali’s experience for people who want to do something different,” he said. “The goal is to survive in this economy.\u201d<\/p>\n
