Inter Miami came close to opening the scoring with a triple opportunity in the 14th minute. First, an effort from Delinois from the left end of the box was saved by Monterrey\u2019s goalkeeper, before a left-footed hit from Allen and Delinois\u2019 second attempt were blocked by the opposition\u2019s backline.<\/p>\n
Inter Miami broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute, with De Paul receiving a pass from Casemiro in the final third before unleashing a right-footed hit from long range to the bottom-left corner.<\/p>\n
Goalkeeper R\u00edos Novo had a notable intervention at the other end in the first minute of stoppage time to preserve Inter Miami\u2019s lead entering the half, with a save to deny a shot from Orbel\u00edn Pineda from the center of the box.<\/p>\n
