Charlotte County 911 calls temporarily rerouted during phone system outage<\/p>\n

\"DerrickCHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n

A temporary telephone interruption at the Charlotte County Emergency Communications Center has rerouted 911 calls to Lee County on Friday while the issue is resolved.<\/p>\n

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the temporary rerouting will not affect emergency response.<\/p>\n

The agency said emergency services personnel can still be dispatched to emergencies during the outage.<\/p>\n

Anyone who needs to contact CCSO Administration is asked to call (941)769-2538 or (941)769-1492 while the phone system is experiencing problems.<\/p>\n
