Mark Gronowski became a fan favorite as Iowa<\/a>‘s starting quarterback in 2025. Now he’s looking for a new NFL home.<\/p>\n

The Miami Dolphins<\/a> cut Gronowski on Friday, ending his tenure with the organization. Gronowski signed with the Dolphins<\/a> after he went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. After a few months battling for a roster spot, he was released just before the preseason kicks off.<\/p>\n

Gronowski was competing with Malik Willis and Quinn Ewers for snaps in Miami’s quarterback room. Ultimately, the two veterans beat him out. He’ll seek a new team before the preseason starts. The preseason would be a great opportunity for him to showcase to other organizations what he can do.<\/p>\n

Gronowski completed 63.4% of his passes last season with the Hawkeyes. He threw for 1,741 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also added 545 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground.<\/p>\n
