Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic<\/a>, the Ravens have received trade calls for CB T.J. Tampa<\/a> over the last 10 months, but they are \u201creluctant to move him\u201d because they view him as a capable starter.<\/p>\n

Though Tampa made just one start last year, Zrebiec thinks he can earn more time under new HC Jesse Minter if he continues to have a strong camp. Zrebiec believes Tampa might be challenging CB Chidobe Awuzie<\/a> for the backup outside cornerback role.<\/p>\n

Tampa, 24, was a fourth-round pick by the Ravens out of Iowa State in 2024. He was named Second-team All-Big 12 in 2022 and First-team All-Big 12 in 2023.<\/p>\n

Tampa is entering the third year of his four-year, $4,718,456 rookie contract that included a $698,456 signing bonus.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2025, Tampa appeared in all 17 games for the Ravens and recorded 29 total tackles, one interception and two passes defended.<\/p>\n
