As an emergency manager, I see the suffering that people go through,&#8221; said Suzanne Boisvert, the emergency manager for the city of Pinellas Park. &#8220;I\u2019m behind the scenes. I\u2019m in the EOC. I\u2019m doing all that work. So, I don\u2019t get a chance to come out and do things like this on a regular basis, so it was really a good experience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WTVT\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Big picture view:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Boxes were loaded up with chicken, sardines, veggies, snacks and more, then sealed up and ready for pickup.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">&#8220;One of our truck drivers just took a truck load, a 53-foot semi-truck over to the port in Miami. They\u2019ll be getting there late tonight. They\u2019ll unload it, getting it on the plane,&#8221; said Hays.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">They are flying the supplies to Kingston and working with other non-profits to deliver the meals on the ground.
