THE FLATS \u2013 Georgia Tech men\u2019s basketball will face Florida as part of a doubleheader in the inaugural Hall of Fame Series Orlando on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Kia Center as Position Sports, in partnership with the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, announced the event on Tuesday morning. The event also features a matchup between Florida Atlanta vs. VCU to comprise the doubleheader.<\/p>\n
Georgia Tech and Florida, meeting for the first time since 1987, have met 47 times in program history with the Yellow Jackets leading the all-time series, 27-20. The Jackets and Gators have met six times on neutral ground with the meetings tied, 3-3. Georgia Tech ushers in a new era under first-year head coach Scott Cross, bolstered by top 100 recruit Tylis Jordan and incoming freshman Kayden Allen, who was ranked No. 47 in the Class of 2026 by 247Sports.
