(WIBW) &#8211; Tre White went undrafted this summer. But that hasn\u2019t stopped the former Kansas guard from making an impression in Miami.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">White played for the Heat in Summer League, averaging 16.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Remy Ndiaye, a Miami Heat player development specialist, saw firsthand what White brought to the gym.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cHe\u2019s a great kid,\u201d Ndiaye told 13 SPORTS. \u201cWe had him for the Summer League in Vegas. And since he got there, he showed how to work. Very smart kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cAnd he was the first one in the gym and always wanted to get extra rep afterward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For an undrafted player trying to carve out a place in the NBA, that work matters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThey just got to put in work. And then whenever the chance comes, it will be right there,\u201d Ndiaye continued. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">And White\u2019s approach didn\u2019t surprise Ndiaye.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWhen I saw that he was from KU and I saw that attitude and the hard work, I wasn\u2019t surprised. So, I was really excited to have him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">White is now hoping that work leads to an NBA roster spot. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
