{"id":368544,"date":"2026-08-11T17:04:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T17:04:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/368544\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T17:04:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T17:04:11","slug":"isabella-valdez-scheduled-for-arraignment-on-new-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/368544\/","title":{"rendered":"Isabella Valdez scheduled for arraignment on new charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. \u2014 One of the teens accused in an alleged murder plot at Lake Brantley High School is scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday on separate criminal charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Isabella Valdez, who was arrested in January in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/news\/local\/seminole-county\/two-lake-brantly-high-school-students-face-attempted-murder-charges-police-say\/WKJ3GXSDOFAPPBRUSYVM4V35L4\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/news\/local\/seminole-county\/two-lake-brantly-high-school-students-face-attempted-murder-charges-police-say\/WKJ3GXSDOFAPPBRUSYVM4V35L4\/\">connection with the alleged plot<\/a>, is set to be arraigned on child pornography charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Authorities announced the new charge in June after investigators said they discovered child sexual abuse material on Valdez\u2019s cellphone while examining evidence related to the murder plot investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Valdez remains in the Seminole County Jail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">The case involving the alleged plot at Lake Brantley High School remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
