CLAY COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 The Florida Department of Transportation has closed the southbound lane of State Road 21 at Weeks Road due to a water main break.<\/p>\n
FDOT said crews are on site to conduct an evaluation and make repairs.<\/p>\n
The road will reopen as soon as it is deemed safe. In the meantime, a flagging operation has been put in place.<\/p>\n
The water main that broke was the Black Creek pipeline. The break caused the underneath of SR-21 to erode.<\/p>\n
Clay County Fire Rescue said no injuries or accidents have occurred.<\/p>\n
FDOT encourages motorists to seek alternate routes and be aware of updates.<\/p>\n
