(WITN) &#8211; A man is now locked up after a Jacksonville shooting killed one and left another with serious injuries five years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">US Marshals arrested Christopher Jackson in Georgia on Thursday. He will soon be extradited to Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Back on October 24, 2021, Dominique Rhodes was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.witn.com\/2021\/10\/24\/one-killed-another-taken-hospital-jacksonville-shooting\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.witn.com\/2021\/10\/24\/one-killed-another-taken-hospital-jacksonville-shooting\/\">shot and killed<\/a> at the Sturgeon City Event Center. Police said a second victim, Alexis Ramsay, was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The shooting happened during a Halloween event that Sturgeon City officials said was misrepresented as a birthday party of about 100 people. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The gathering later turned into Spook Fest 2021, according to a Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Facebook post\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/X26IYXHHDRGYRMGRJQRQL56RJE.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"548\" \/>Facebook post(WITN)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jackson remains in jail without bond.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
