(WSVN) &#8211; A fire at a vacant structure in Lauderhill caused Lauderhill Fire Rescue crews to respond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crews were seen responding to the fire, which happened near State Road 7 and Northwest 19th Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFire, fire in my backyard. Jesus Christ,\u201d said a witness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neigbors told fire crews that the building was recently boarded up by code enforcement and was empty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, the building was later deemed unsafe to enter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue officials, the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Sunbeam Television Corp.
