{"id":369470,"date":"2026-08-12T15:32:53","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T15:32:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/369470\/"},"modified":"2026-08-12T15:32:53","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T15:32:53","slug":"man-caught-on-video-dumping-trash-into-biscayne-bay-faces-environmental-felony-charge-wsvn-7news-miami-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/369470\/","title":{"rendered":"Man caught on video dumping trash into Biscayne Bay faces environmental felony charge &#8211; WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MIAMI (WSVN) &#8211; A man who was caught on camera dumping trash into Biscayne Bay is now facing an environmental felony charge, days after he was arrested on unrelated charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">City of Miami Police put out a flyer asking for help identifying the individual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investigators said they saw the video online that clearly shows the suspect dumping trash from the bridge on Brickell Key Drive to the water below, July 8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With help from other local law enforcement, police said they were able to find the man, whom they identified as 34-year-old Juan Emilio Iglesias.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wednesday morning, police said Iglesias was already in jail after he was arrested Friday for illegal camping, resisting police and giving a false name. After he was taken in, detectives as the person who threw the trash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iglesias\u2019 bond for the environmental charge is $500.
