Heat advisories are in effect for all of Miami-Dade and Broward. Dangerous heat is expected this afternoon as the \u201cfeels like\u201d temperature soars up to 110 degrees. Please drink plenty of water and stay cool! <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1_5f91d7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742781\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The only thing that could help cool us off are some storms. We will see opportunity for some PM storms late in the afternoon out of the northwest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2_9e18a0.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742782\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, a tropical wave will bring another chance of showers and storms Friday night into Saturday. It maybe a little breezier as well as the wave passes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3_adf5e1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742783\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the tropical wave passes we dry out and crank up the heat as dome of high pressure flexes its muscles over the region. We\u2019re talking brutal heat with highs in the mid to upper 90s with little to no rain chance to cool us off.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/4_82489e.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742784\"  \/>TROPICAL UPDATE:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It sure is looking like August with three areas to watch in the Atlantic!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1_62a0ee.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742785\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The front runner which has been designated Invest 92L has a high chance of development from the NHC. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2_926f64.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742786\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a window of somewhat favorable conditions for this to develop as it moves west this week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3_4e2e3e.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742787\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">92L will enter the Caribbean by this weekend, bringing much needed rain.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/4_4eff89.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742788\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, strong wind shear is expected to tear it apart afterwards.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/5_77bfd1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742789\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wave behind 92L currently has a low 30% chance of development. However, I think the National Hurricane Center is going to have to increase chances in the coming days as it moves westward. The Google &amp; EURO AI \u2014 which have been outstanding \u2014 favor this wave to develop over 92L and this has the potential to be our first true long tracker of the hurricane season.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/6_d91c9d.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1742790\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other disturbance (INVEST 93L) in the far northern Atlantic has a brief window to develop. However, time is quickly running out.
