Levain Bakery, the beloved New York City spot famous for its ooey-gooey cookies, is planning to open its first Miami location right in the heart of Coconut Grove.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1995 by Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, Levain started as a bread-focused bakery (borrowing the French word for \u201cleavened bread\u201d) in the Upper West Side before becoming known for its hefty, six-ounce cookies. It has even garnered high-profile fans like Taylor Swift, Giada De Laurentiis, Oprah Winfrey and Kylie Jenner. And judging by the looks of them, there\u2019s no doubt as to why. These roundels are crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBecause the way you feel when you\u2019re carrying a box of freshly baked chocolate chip and walnut cookies that are each THE SIZE OF YOUR FIST is worth the journey.
