Coaster reopens on National Roller Coaster Day<\/p>\n

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. \u2013 Coastersaurus is roaring back to life at Legoland Florida Resort<\/a> just in time for National Roller Coaster Day.<\/p>\n

Florida\u2019s only fully wooden roller coaster is set to reopen Sunday, following a comprehensive rebuild aimed at keeping the fan-favorite attraction running for another 20 to 30 years.<\/p>\n

The reopening marks a significant moment for the resort, which chose to rebuild \u2014 rather than replace \u2014 the wooden coaster to preserve a rare piece of Florida\u2019s amusement park history, a news release states. <\/p>\n

Guests can expect a smoother, refreshed ride while still enjoying the classic feel that only a wooden coaster offers, officials said.<\/p>\n

Little ones as small as 42 inches can join an adult for the prehistoric ride, while riders 48 inches and taller can take on Coastersaurus solo. <\/p>\n
