In the wake of Monday\u2019s devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake in western Colombia<\/a>, organizers of the benefit concert heading to the Kaseya Center this weekend have expanded its mission and officially renamed it Unidos por los Nuestros (United for Our Own).<\/p>\n The international telethon and live show was originally billed as Unidos por Venezuela<\/a> to aid victims of the magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, the strongest to hit the country in over a century. Relief efforts now support the affected communities of the two nations still grappling with severe destruction and loss.<\/p>\n \u201cMy people, in the difficult times is when we have to stand together the most,\u201d headliner Marc Anthony wrote in an Instagram post sharing the concert renaming, adding in Spanish, \u201cToday I invite you to be part of this beautiful cause.\u201d<\/p>\n Anthony\u2019s Maestro Cares Foundation is organizing the event alongside C\u00e1rdenas Marketing Network, TelevisaUnivision y Univision Foundation and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with support from iHeartRadio, Spotify, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment.<\/p>\n Latin music\u2019s biggest stars unite for one night<\/p>\n The benefit concert will take place this Sunday, August 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Kaseya Center. The lineup of stellar performers have grown to include more than 25 artists, including:<\/p>\n Chayanne<\/p>\n Chino y Nacho<\/p>\n Corina Smith<\/p>\n Elena Rose<\/p>\n Feid<\/p>\n Free Cover<\/p>\n Gente de Zona<\/p>\n Gilberto Santa Rosa<\/p>\n Isadora<\/p>\n Jay Wheeler<\/p>\n Jerry Di<\/p>\n Joaquina<\/p>\n Jonathan Moly<\/p>\n Jorge Luis Chac\u00edn<\/p>\n Lasso<\/p>\n Luis Fonsi<\/p>\n Manu Manzo<\/p>\n Marc Anthony<\/p>\n Mau y Ricky<\/p>\n Micro TDH<\/p>\n Nella<\/p>\n Noreh<\/p>\n Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n<\/p>\n Piso 21<\/p>\n Ricardo Montaner<\/p>\n SanLuis<\/p>\n Silvestre Dangond<\/p>\n Zhamira<\/p>\n Dozens of television personalities and celebrities will also help host the event, including S\u00e1bado Gigante host Don Francisco and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.<\/p>\n How to watch and help<\/p>\n In global solidarity, the live show will stream and air live across Univision, ViX, WAPA networks, TelevisaUnivision radio stations, iHeartLatino, WAPA Stations and Venevision in Venezuela. The broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. ET and PT \/ 5 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n Viewers tuning in will be able to contribute directly by scanning on-screen QR codes, texting the word UNIDOS to 707070 or visiting the Univision website<\/a>.<\/p>\n Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be distributed to internationally recognized humanitarian organizations \u2014 including All Hands & Hearts, CARE, Global Empowerment Mission, TECHO, and World Central Kitchen \u2014 to provide immediate relief, food assistance, mental health support, rebuild homes, repair schools and more for the victims in both Venezuela and Colombia.<\/p>\n
