(WCTV) &#8211; There are dozen of adoptable dogs ready to kick off the new school year with you! Pups make great study buddies &#8230; and great study break buddies too!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Furry Friday is a weekly collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find fur-ever homes, faster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:<\/p>\n<p>MEET BLITZ<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Blitz will happily roll over for belly rubs  and he knows all kinds of commands  including...\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1786735094_109_ZQ62W5YY3VAXFHUNX4WXAGZM6A.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Blitz will happily roll over for belly rubs  and he knows all kinds of commands  including sit, shake, stay and come!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Blitz!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This brindle beauty is a Dutch Shepherd mix who is into stretching out in the shade and keeping cool! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Blitz will happily roll over for belly rubs and he knows all kinds of commands, including sit, shake, stay and come. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Blitz\u2019s owner can no longer care for him, so he is hoping to find a new loving, loyal family who will include him in all their fun &#8211; whether that\u2019s heading out or staying in &#8230; <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit Blitz at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET TRICY<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Tricy's big brown eyes will melt your heart!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1786735095_284_JY47MIELKRGRHK62KVKFTCKOHU.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Tricy&#8217;s big brown eyes will melt your heart!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Tricy!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This four-year-old German Shepherd mix has spent most of her life outside.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She is now learning what affection and companionship look like and is learning to walk on a leash maybe for the first time. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tricy is a spunky girl who likes exploring and would love to find a family of her own with a little patience and a big backyard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">And her big brown eyes &#8230; will melt your heart. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit Tricy at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET TRIXIE<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Trixie is into belly rubs, comfy couches and just chillin\u2019 by your side!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1786735095_716_Q4BJJVKHHVASVJL7Q6EJHVJSOU.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Trixie is into belly rubs, comfy couches and just chillin\u2019 by your side!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Trixie!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This beefy beauty is into belly rubs, stretching out and smiling!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Just seven seconds into our walk, Trixie decided we were trustworthy enough to flip over and the belly rubs began. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">We did more belly rubbing than we did walking. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Trixie is not into summer heat or overexerting herself &#8230; she is into comfy couches, plush throw rugs, and just chillin\u2019 by your side. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If you are looking for a lovable lovebug, please visit Trixie at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET KAIRO <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Kairo has fantastic ears! They perk up especially when treats are on the line!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1786735096_590_EPZQOWMWE5G7NLON64OBVKLDIU.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Kairo has fantastic ears! They perk up especially when treats are on the line!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Kairo!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This handsome guy is active and affectionate and looking for a fresh start.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">His owner was having medical challenges and brought Kairo to the shelter in hopes he\u2019d find another loving family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kairo has fantastic ears! They perk up especially when treats are on the line!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kairo loved exploring in the tall green grass!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He\u2019s hoping he\u2019ll find his fur-ever family soon! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">With love and patience, he\u2019ll grow into the best dog ever.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit him at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET AND GREET<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center.
