TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Economic leaders from the Greater Tallahassee Chamber are discussing ideas to improve businesses in the region on Friday during the annual Chamber Conference on Amelia Island.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a focus on digital initiatives this year with new online platforms to connect people, businesses and organizations. Leaders said it\u2019s important to have tools for entrepreneurs and investors looking to help the capital region grow.<\/p>\n
New Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce CEO and President Michael Dalby<\/a> pointed out some goals for the conference.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re trying to get everybody sort of rallied around certain issues, like this year we will talk a lot about innovation. We\u2019ll talk about the new partnership between TMH and FSU Health; we\u2019ll talk about what is going on in the real estate market in both commercial and residential. We\u2019ll talk about some of the work that is going on in our economy just to try to build the economy,\u201d Dalby said.<\/p>\n The group also gives back during the conference by packing thousands of meals for Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
