Florida’s primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 18, ahead of the November midterm.<\/p>\n
Your choices in this primary will determine who goes on that next ballot. After the primary election, it’ll be another 11 weeks until the general election on Nov. 3.<\/p>\n
Keep in mind, too, that Florida is a closed primary election state. This means that only voters whom are registered members of a political party may vote for candidates or nominees of said party, according to the Florida Division of Elections<\/a>.
