FOX 13&#8217;s Matthew McClellan reports.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox13news.com\/shows\/veterans-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Veterans Day<\/a> weekend begins with a blast, literally, as the Zephyrhills Museum of Military History launches its annual Battle for Veterans\u00a0event.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WTVT\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The three-day tribute opens Friday, Nov. 7, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The free, family-friendly celebration honors service members from every era of U.S. history with live demonstrations, military vehicles, and immersive exhibits.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Saturday and Sunday are expected to draw the biggest crowds for the World War II battle reenactment, &#8220;The Breakout: Cobra 1944,&#8221;\u00a0which begins at 2 p.m. each day. The show features pyrotechnic effects and a flyover by three restored P-51 Mustang\u00a0aircraft, courtesy of the American Honor Foundation.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/snapshot-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Operation Cobra was a major World War II offensive launched by the United States Army to break out of the Normandy beachhead and advance into Brittany.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Other scheduled highlights include a Downtown Zephyrhills Parade\u00a0at 10 a.m. Saturday, tank salutes\u00a0at noon, and a &#8220;Last Patrol&#8221; demonstration\u00a0Sunday morning.
