ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 After a fight was reported at an Orlando nightclub<\/a> last week, Orange County deputies announced that a \u201cyoung man\u201d came forward about his involvement, leading to his arrest.<\/p>\n

In a release, investigators said the incident originally happened on Aug. 7 around 9 p.m., when deputies were performing off-duty work at Knight\u2019s Library, a nightclub along University Boulevard.<\/p>\n

At the time, a fight broke out, leaving one person hospitalized in the aftermath, deputies added.<\/p>\n

News 6 later learned that a woman \u2014 identified as Olivia Noguera \u2014 had suffered a fractured skull and a brain bleed when two men began fighting inside the club. She told News 6 that the crowd had pushed her toward the altercation.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, though, deputies said a teen \u2014 identified as 17-year-old Abdiel Joel Aldea Valcarcel \u2014 came to one of the sheriff\u2019s office substations to speak with deputies about his involvement in the incident, deputies revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter hearing his account and further examining evidence in the case, on Wednesday evening, detectives arrested (him) on one charge of felony battery,\u201d the release reads.<\/p>\n

No additional information has been provided at this time.<\/p>\n
