Ray J<\/a> has finally gotten his redemption after losing to Supa Hot Fire via knockout<\/a> in a boxing match earlier this year. Last night (Saturday, August 15) he emerged victorious from his fight with Orlando Brown<\/a> by unanimous decision. From how fans and folks in the crowd reacted, though, it’s clear they weren’t very impressed with either competitor. But regardless, a win is a win.<\/p>\n

Ray and Brown faced off for three rounds at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. They were the headlining matchup on Zeus Network’s undercard for the Claressa Shields and Kaye Scott fight, and fans definitely got a lot of entertainment out of it.<\/p>\n

In clips caught on Twitter, fans expressed disbelief at their lack of form and chaotic movements while they swung at each other. Orlando in particular caught some jokes, and clips show folks like Floyd Mayweather<\/a> and Terence Crawford reacting with confusion to the fight.<\/p>\n

Floyd, Crawford, and Shakur Stevenson congratulated the singer after his victory. We’ll see if the two competitors speak out about the matchup soon, whether about fans’ reactions or the fight itself.<\/p>\n

Orlando Brown & Ray J Fight<\/p>\n

For those unaware, Ray J and Orlando Brown have history together,<\/a> as the two have called each other out on the Internet various times in the past. For example, Orlando once claimed Ray made him smoke weed as a teen, and he has often referred to Ray only as “Brandy<\/a>‘s brother.”<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Big Lex beat Tesehki by unanimous decision on the Shields-Scott undercard. As for that main matchup, Claressa emerged victorious via sixth-round TKO.<\/p>\n

But this Orlando Brown matchup drew particular interest due to Ray J’s recent health complications.<\/a> He was hospitalized after the Supa Hot Fire loss, which exacerbated his heart problems and led to fans wishing him well.<\/p>\n

Still, Ray was very happy to win this fight, and it seems like he wants to get in the ring again. Hopefully he is able to do so without further risking his health, as fans have expressed a lot of concern.
