This neighborly feud really hit the fan.<\/p>\n

A Florida man furious over his neighbor\u2019s unscooped dog poop allegedly barged into the pet owner\u2019s home carrying the offending feces \u2014 then hurled it at him before the messy spat erupted into a fistfight and a threat involving a child\u2019s metal scooter, according to cops.<\/p>\n

Trey Decloedt, 35, was arrested by Lake County sheriff\u2019s deputies on Aug. 8 after the revolting confrontation at a Leesburg home the previous day, according to reports citing the arrest affidavit.<\/p>\n

The neighboring couple told deputies they had been locked in an ongoing dispute with Decloedt over dog feces being left around their properties, WKMG-TV reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

The husband claimed Decloedt entered his home without permission<\/a> while angry and clutching dog feces before throwing the waste and striking him with it.<\/p>\n

The homeowner then pushed Decloedt back outside, where the two men got into a fight and Decloedt allegedly punched him in the face, according to the affidavit account.<\/p>\n

The confrontation escalated further when Decloedt allegedly grabbed a child\u2019s metal scooter, hoisted it over his head in a \u201cmenacing posture\u201d and threatened the neighbor, according to reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Responding deputies observed a red mark on the neighbor\u2019s forehead as well as animal feces outside the home, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n

Decloedt told deputies he had already complained to the neighbor\u2019s wife about the mess and that she promised to clean it up \u2014 but four hours later, it was still there, according to bodycam footage obtained by WKMG-TV.<\/p>\n

He claimed the neighbor later messaged him to come over and discuss the poop problem, then \u201cshoved him in the doorway\u201d before the two men fought in the driveway.<\/p>\n

When deputies asked to enter Decloedt\u2019s home to photograph injuries he said he suffered in the scuffle, he allegedly refused \u2014 and then declined orders to come outside, according to Law&Crime.<\/p>\n

Deputies eventually placed him in handcuffs and brought him in for questioning, where, after being read his rights, he agreed to talk and stuck to his story.<\/p>\n

Decloedt also told deputies that the two neighbors had previously had an understanding that allowed them to enter each other\u2019s homes without knocking.<\/p>\n

The neighbor, however, provided deputies with a recording that reportedly showed he had previously told Decloedt he was no longer welcome on the property or inside the house because of the feces dispute.<\/p>\n

Decloedt was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, simple battery and burglary.<\/p>\n
