Following his release on Aug. 7<\/a>, former Iowa<\/a> quarterback Mark Gronowski is back with the Miami Dolphins<\/a>.<\/p>\n After trying out for the Indianapolis Colts<\/a> on Saturday, Gronowski was re-signed by the Dolphins on Sunday. Per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald<\/a>, Dolphins quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered a groin injury during the Dolphins’ Friday preseason game against the Washington Commanders<\/a>.<\/p>\n Gronowski was terrific in the black and gold last season, passing for 1,741 yards and 10 touchdowns and rushing for an additional 545 yards and 16 scores.<\/p>\n A 6-foot-2, 235-pound signal-caller, Gronowski departed Iowa<\/a> as the winningest quarterback in college football history with 58 career wins across his time at South Dakota State and Iowa.<\/p>\n In his collegiate career, Gronowski passed for 12,049 yards and 103 touchdowns and ran for 2,312 yards and 53 scores.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
