ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 The Orlando Magic<\/a> have selected WFTV Channel 9 and WRDQ-TV 27 as the team\u2019s new local television broadcast partners beginning with the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n

The multi-year partnership with Cox Media Group will make Channel 9<\/a> and TV 27 Central Florida\u2019s free, over-the-air home for Orlando Magic basketball and related team programming.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to partner with Cox Media Group to serve as our over-the-air partner for live games, replays, pregame and postgame coverage, and original programming,\u201d said Magic President of Business Operations Charlie Freeman.<\/p>\n

\u201cWRDQ-TV 27 and WFTV Channel 9 will provide Magic fans great access, strong consistency, and a direct connection to the team all season long.\u201d<\/p>\n

Where Orlando Magic games will air<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, all locally distributed Orlando Magic regular-season games, excluding nationally exclusive broadcasts, will air on WRDQ-TV 27.<\/p>\n

Select games will also air on WFTV Channel 9.<\/p>\n

The partnership will bring Magic basketball to households throughout the team\u2019s television territory, including Orlando, Tampa and Gainesville. Games will also be available in Jacksonville through Action Sports Jax TV on CBS 47.2.<\/p>\n

Expanded Orlando Magic coverage<\/p>\n

The partnership extends beyond live games.<\/p>\n

Fans can expect pregame and postgame coverage, replays, feature stories and original Magic programming designed to bring viewers closer to the team throughout the season.<\/p>\n

The agreement expands CMG Orlando\u2019s investment in local sports programming. WFTV and WRDQ are also the official television stations of the Miami Dolphins.<\/p>\n

Additional details about game schedules, coverage plans and Magic programming will be announced before the start of the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n
