TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Leon County Commission Chair Christian Caban was elected as Tallahassee State College\u2019s board chair during its meeting Monday.<\/p>\n
Caban has represented District 2 on the Leon County Commission for the past four years and was recently elected as the chair<\/a> of the county commission. The county chairman is succeeding TSC Chair Eugene Lamb Junior who has served since 2007 for five terms. <\/p>\n More news out of the Big Bend:<\/p>\n \u201cTallahassee State College played an important role in making me who I am today, which makes the opportunity to serve as Chair especially meaningful,\u201d Caban said in the press release. <\/p>\n He attended Tallahassee State College and has been on their board of trustees since last year<\/a>.
