ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 The Republican primary for Florida\u2019s open 11th Congressional District remained too close to call Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Joe Strada led Carey Baker by only 403 votes with 92% of the expected vote reported, according to unofficial results.<\/p>\n

Strada had received 27,245 votes, or 34%, while Baker had 26,842 votes, or 33%<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tim Wilkins was in third place with 25%, followed by Nizam Razack with 6% and Ivette Palomo with 2%.<\/p>\n

The reported precinct total did not include outstanding absentee ballots.<\/p>\n

On the Democratic side, James Pericola held a commanding lead with 46% of the vote. Royal Webster had 27%, while Dan Williams had 26%, with 98% reporting. That race had also not yet been officially called.<\/p>\n

The candidates are seeking to replace retiring Republican Rep. Daniel Webster, who has represented the district since 2017.<\/p>\n

The Republican and Democratic nominees will also face Libertarian Ralph Groves in the Nov. 3 general election.<\/p>\n

This story will be updated as additional votes are counted and the races are called.<\/p>\n
