Miami Beach Police Sergeant Alex Bello wasn&#8217;t even scheduled to work Saturday. But while eating lunch at La Vina Aragon Restaurant y Cafeteria, located at 8155 W. Eighth Ave. in Hialeah, he spotted an elderly man in a life-or-death crisis. <\/p>\n<p>The senior citizen was completely unable to breathe due to a food blockage. Bello jumped up immediately and wrapped his arms around the victim, performing the Heimlich maneuver. <\/p>\n<p>A few sharp abdominal thrusts successfully cleared the senior&#8217;s airway.
