{"id":376256,"date":"2026-08-20T04:58:50","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T04:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/376256\/"},"modified":"2026-08-20T04:58:50","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T04:58:50","slug":"fhp-clearwater-man-arrested-for-dui-driving-120-mph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/376256\/","title":{"rendered":"FHP: Clearwater man arrested for DUI, driving 120 mph"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAMPA, FLA. \u2014 A Clearwater man was arrested for DUI and for violating the Super Speeder law on Wednesday after he was clocked driving about 120 mph in Tampa, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The Florida Highway Patrol arrested 20-year-old Aiden Irizarry at about 4 a.m. <\/p>\n<p>A trooper first observed Irizarry driving a 2023 Nissan Altima at about 120 mph near the Interstate 275\/Interstate 4 interchange.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Irizarry continued onto I-4, where other troopers observed him traveling at the same unlawful speed, according to an FHP report.<\/p>\n<p>Irizarry then exited onto State Road 574 and continued eastbound until he was stopped by troopers at Orient Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following a DUI investigation, Irizarry was charged with DUI and violating the Super Speeder law.<\/p>\n<p>He was booked into the Orient Road Jail.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/ADAM.WALSER.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Body cam video, court records reveal years of warning signs before Hillsborough deputies were shot<\/p>\n<p>Christopher Dmuchowski wounded 2 deputies who responded to a domestic violence call in Ruskin.
