(WCTV) &#8211; Second Harvest of the Big Bend is getting a major expansion to help feed locals in need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A new 28,000-square-foot Impact Center is set to open next month, more than doubling the size of Second Harvest\u2019s current space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The expansion includes more room for volunteers, a community and training center, and upgraded administrative offices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Second Harvest\u2019s Chief Development Officer James McGowan said the momentum has been building for some time, and the organization is excited to open the new space and better serve the community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThis really is more than volunteers.
