<\/a>ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\nSeaWorld Orlando is going bigger \u2014 and scarier \u2014 for Howl-O-Scream this year, with its largest Halloween event yet and the park\u2019s first-ever intellectual property partnership.<\/p>\n
For 2026, SeaWorld is leaning into \u201990s horror nostalgia with \u201cI Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch,\u201d a new haunted house inspired by the iconic slasher franchise.<\/p>\n
The throwback theme was on full display during a media preview, where SeaWorld introduced this year\u2019s scare actors through a \u201990s-style infomercial \u2014 complete with plenty of era-appropriate nostalgia.<\/p>\n
But the theme goes far beyond the presentation.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Howl-O-Scream will feature five haunted houses, including four with all-new storylines, along with four new scare zones and five new themed bars.<\/p>\n
\u201cI Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch\u201d will bring The Fisherman to SeaWorld Orlando, while other houses will introduce guests to characters including Havoc, Pestilents and Jack the Ripper.<\/p>\n
The new scares won\u2019t be limited to the haunted houses.<\/p>\n
A new scare zone called \u201cNekrosis\u201d turns the clock back to Y2K, dropping guests into an abandoned seaside town seemingly frozen in the 1990s. That storyline continues at \u201cThe Rewind,\u201d a new interactive themed bar.<\/p>\n
Between the food, drinks, haunted houses and scare zones, SeaWorld is embracing the throwback horror theme throughout the event.<\/p>\n
