(WSVN) &#8211; Federal agents said they have arrested a man accused of a <a href=\"https:\/\/wsvn.com\/news\/local\/broward\/fbi-searching-for-man-who-robbed-fort-lauderdale-bank\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wsvn.com\/news\/local\/broward\/fbi-searching-for-man-who-robbed-fort-lauderdale-bank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">bank robbery<\/a> in Fort Lauderdale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fiske Evariste Johnson is facing now in federal bank robbery charges in connection to the Aug. 13 incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the FBI, the 57-year-old suspect walked into the Truist branch at East Las Olas Boulevard and South Federal Highway and demanded an undisclosed sum of money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No one was injured during the robbery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Johnson is being held without bond.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Sunbeam Television Corp.
