Taking the bus in Miami is now getting an upgrade. A SoFlo musician is making public transit even more exciting. He transformed an old school bus into a rolling rock club \u2014 and the party is just getting started. Deco\u2019s got your ticket to Bands on the Bus!<\/p>\n
There are plenty of bus tours in Miami.<\/p>\n
An open-top ride lets you see the sights, you can even get British tea in a posh double decker.<\/p>\n
And now, there\u2019s this:<\/p>\n
Put in your earplugs, and get ready for Bands on the Bus.<\/p>\n
This motorized mayhem is the work of Fang Daddy, a local promoter who was driven to do something different.<\/p>\n
Fang Daddy: \u201cI kept seeing these other types of buses with people doing things on them and music themes like reggaeton and these hip hop buses. I figured why not have some people play while we drive?\u201d<\/p>\n

At the Wynwood stop, fans couldn\u2019t wait to hop on.<\/p>\n
Fang Daddy: \u201cThey hear this grinding music coming through, door opens up and they wanna get involved. That\u2019s what it\u2019s all about.\u201d<\/p>\n
Passenger: \u201cIt\u2019s such a cool place and cool band on the bus. I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Passenger: \u201cWe just passed by, we heard the music and we were like, \u2018Okay, that sounds cool.\u2019 And then someone told us, \u2018Hey, you can get in.\u2019 I go, \u2018Okay, great,\u2019 so we hopped on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hop on, hop off wherever you like.<\/p>\n
But if you don\u2019t follow the rules \u2013 you\u2019re gonna get schooled.<\/p>\n
Fang Daddy: \u201cIf you want to mosh, fine. Everybody knows the school bus rules, it\u2019s simple: keep your hands in the window. You\u2019ll keep them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Miami band The Creature Cage brought the jams.<\/p>\n
Turns out, playing on a moving bus is a whole new kind of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll.<\/p>\n
Joshua Soria: \u201cThe turns, yeah. The turns were getting me, I had to hit this move where I was grabbing the ceiling and then, like, doing a little hammer-on thing, but people were riding with us for a minute, so it worked out, it was pretty cool. People were digging it and we\u2019re just happy to rock with them, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fang Daddy: \u201cMiami\u2019s got so much to see \u2014 why not see it when you jam into some metal instead of some twerky music?\u201d<\/p>\n
