LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 A funnel cloud was spotted over a Port St. Lucie neighborhood Sunday evening as a tornado warning was issued for southeastern St. Lucie County and northeastern Martin County.<\/p>\n<p>CBS12 obtained video showing the funnel cloud moments after the <a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/showsigwx.php?warnzone=FLZ159&amp;warncounty=FLC111&amp;firewxzone=FLZ159&amp;local_place1=Port%20St.%20Lucie%20FL&amp;product1=Tornado+Warning&amp;lat=27.2939&amp;lon=-80.3503\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">National Weather Service<\/a> issued the warning, which remained in effect through 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Moments after the warning was issued, CBS12 obtained a video of a tornado spotted above a Port St. Lucie neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>The storm was expected to move near Walton, Stuart, and the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant around 6:30 p.m. Hutchinson Island South was also among the areas affected by the warning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
