Rain chances won\u2019t be quite as high as yesterday with a little extra saharan dust in the area today.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1_ee88fd.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1747756\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, rain chances will climb as we head later in the week as deep tropical moisture pools over Florida.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/3_d8b7b3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1747758\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This upcoming weekend could be even wetter as a tropical wave passes nearby and an upper low over the Gulf helps to funnel in even more moisture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/4_261e05.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1747759\"  \/>TROPICAL UPDATE:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re watching two areas in the Atlantic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Invest 95L in the central Atlantic has a medium 50% chance of becoming a depression as it moves northward into the far northern Atlantic this week. It could bring some rain to Newfoundland before dissipating.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A strong tropical wave leaving Africa has a medium 60% chance of developing as it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic this week. It\u2019s too early to know if this poses any long term threat to land.
