At St. Pete Pier, he had 2 hours to prove it.

The electronic music veteran’s full set from We Belong Here: Tampa Bay 2025 is now available to watch, capturing his performance from the festival’s inaugural Tampa Bay edition at St. Pete Pier. The video premiered March 25, 2026 and runs through a wide-ranging selection of melodic house, progressive sounds and some of the records that have defined Kaskade’s long relationship with dance music audiences.

The setting matters here. We Belong Here has built its identity around staging electronic music in visually distinctive locations while avoiding giant LED walls in favour of lighting and design that work with the surrounding environment. St. Pete Pier gives Kaskade exactly that kind of backdrop, with the waterfront setting becoming part of the atmosphere instead of disappearing behind production.

Kaskade’s connection with the festival already stretches back several years. He first appeared at We Belong Here on Virginia Key Beach in 2023, returned for the Central Park edition in 2024 and played Miami again in 2025 before joining the Tampa Bay event.

That familiarity comes through in the set. There’s no need for a long introduction or elaborate setup. Kaskade moves quickly into the music, letting long blends and gradual transitions build the flow rather than constantly resetting the room between tracks.

The track selection reaches across different periods of his catalogue. “DNCR,” “Love Like That” and “Vision Blurred” appear alongside collaborations including “Heaven Knows” with Punctual and Poppy Baskcomb, “Move For Me” with deadmau5 and “Tears Don’t Fall” with Enisa.

There’s also room for material connected to other producers and remixers, including 22Bullets and RSCL. The result is a set that treats Kaskade’s catalogue as part of a much wider electronic conversation, moving between familiar songs, collaborations and newer club material without losing its melodic centre.

“Move For Me” remains one of the most recognizable moments in that history. Kaskade and deadmau5 helped define an era of melodic North American dance music with the track, and hearing it inside a modern festival set connects the current version of Kaskade directly to the records that helped bring his sound to much larger audiences.

The newer material keeps the set from becoming a retrospective. “Heaven Knows” and “Tears Don’t Fall” sit comfortably beside established favourites, showing how consistently Kaskade has maintained the emotional, vocal-driven side of his house music even as production styles around him have shifted.

That balance is one of the strongest things about the performance. Kaskade can move from deeper, patient stretches into immediate vocal hooks without making the changes feel abrupt. The music stays warm, melodic and built for movement, with enough space in the mixes for each transition to develop.

We Belong Here’s approach adds another layer. The festival describes itself as a community formed around music, nature, culture and dance, with reduced-capacity events intended to give people more room on the dance floor. That philosophy suits a Kaskade set, where atmosphere and pacing matter just as much as the biggest drops.

The festival also uses its events to support local talent and music education, while providing opportunities for creative communities surrounding each location. The Tampa Bay performance puts one of electronic music’s most established names at the centre of that model.

Kaskade’s full We Belong Here: Tampa Bay 2025 performance is available now on YouTube, offering 2 hours of one of dance music’s most enduring performers working through a set built for the waterfront.

Kaskade has a way of making a massive dance floor feel surprisingly personal.
