MARGATE, FLA. (WSVN) – A devastated husband and father is opening up about the sudden strike from the sky that claimed the lives of his wife and 2-year-old daughter<\/a> in Margate over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Kameron Glasgow was on his knees and hearbroken over the loss of his wife, 31-year-old Kenya Glasgow, and one of their twin daughters, 2-year-old Kennedy Rose, Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

According to Margate Police, Kenya and Kennedy were struck and killed by lightning in the driveway of a family member\u2019s house along Northwest First Street.<\/p>\n

Kameron said he was just feet away. He said he felt some of it and that his other daughter hadn\u2019t gotten out of the car yet. <\/p>\n

\u201cWorst feeling in the world, and to turn around and see your wife and your daughter, their life is even worse,\u201d he said. \u201cI got the actual aftershock from the ground. By the grace of God, I\u2019m still here as well.\u201d <\/p>\n

Neighbor Prince Moody said he was inside his home across the street when he heard and saw the bolt from the sky.<\/p>\n

\u201cI heard this large lightning strike, I saw an orange glow through my window. My son said, \u2018Dad, there is a lady on the floor, she got hit,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cI almost didn\u2019t want to believe him, and I looked at my window, and I saw a lady.\u201d<\/p>\n

First responders rushed both victims to the hospital \u2014 Kenya to North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach, Kennedy Rose to Broward Health Medical Center \u2014 but police said both died shortly after arriving.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery achievement that we\u2019ve been through in life, we\u2019ve been doing it together, in lockstep. It\u2019s going to be tough to lose somebody that I\u2019ve been with for half my life,\u201d said Kameron. <\/p>\n

Now a family is grieving two lives, remembering Kenya and little Kennedy Rose. Kameron shared various photos and videos of his family members in better times. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife, the biggest heart in the world, the biggest heart in the world, puts everybody before herself, everybody. My daughter, my wife, amazing, amazing people,\u201d said Kameron.<\/p>\n

He added that Kennedy\u2019s twin sister has now lost her best friend. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor her to lose her twin sister, words can\u2019t describe that feeling cause I know she can\u2019t even fathom it right now, that she lost her best friend,\u201d said Kameron. <\/p>\n

Monday morning, Kameron paid tribute to his wife and daughter in a Facebook post<\/a>, writing in part:<\/p>\n

\u201cI just lost my best friend. My daughter just lost her best friend \u2026 I know you both have us covered for the rest of our lives. We will make you both our story and take it one day at time because I know you both are guiding us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police have not released additional information about this incident, as they continue to investigate.<\/p>\n
