The first of many reunions for the Miami Dolphins and familiar faces is officially on for later this week. <\/p>\n

There are no shortage of players and coaches who left the Miami Dolphins<\/a> who will get a chance to clash against their former team in 2026. <\/p>\n

Bradley Chubb. Mike McDaniel. Frank Smith. Jaylen Waddle. The list goes on and on. But one of the most high profile names to leave Miami in 2026 was former quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa is firmly in the hunt for the Atlanta Falcons\u2019 starting quarterback gig. The Falcons also just so happen to be headed to Hard Rock Stadium this Friday for a matchup against the Dolphins. And now, thanks to Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski, we know whether or not Tagovailoa and the rest of the Falcons starters will suit up to play in Miami. <\/p>\n

Game on. Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed Atlanta\u2019s starters will play. <\/p>\n

The first major \u201crevenge game\u201d of the 2026 season is upon us. The Dolphins\u2019 relationship with Tagovailoa fell out in spectacular fashion this past season. Although much of the damage was presumably done the previous season in 2024. If you\u2019ll remember, Tagovailoa endured an early concussion? Then he spent the last few weeks of the regular season unavailable despite his assurances that he\u2019d be playing due to an ailing hip injury. <\/p>\n

Any ugly, bitter, hard feelings from Tagovailoa will have a chance to be acted upon against his former team on Friday night. Officially. Although nearly anyone who Tagovailoa may have had exception with is probably also gone. That\u2019s the magnitude of this reset in Miami. But nevertheless, the fans in attendance can go about their week with confidence. It is, for one last time, Tua Time at Hard Rock Stadium this Friday night. <\/p>\n
