{"id":380808,"date":"2026-08-25T16:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T16:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/380808\/"},"modified":"2026-08-25T16:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T16:52:08","slug":"man-posted-instagram-threat-against-miami-dade-college-hialeah-campus-cops-say-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/380808\/","title":{"rendered":"Man posted Instagram threat against Miami Dade College Hialeah Campus, cops say \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was arrested after he allegedly posted a threat on social media against Miami Dade College&#8217;s Hialeah Campus, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Jose Santos, 21, was arrested Monday on a charge of written threats to kill or do bodily injury, an arrest report said.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged threat involved the Miami Dade College Hialeah Campus at 1780 West 49th Street.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, a person provided police with an Instagram post that said &#8220;everyone at MDC dies today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Santos was later identified as the owner of Instagram account and detained, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Based on the investigation conducted, detectives were able to determine the defendant improperly sent an electronic record that threatened a mass act of terrorism,&#8221; the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Santos was booked into jail, and was expected to appear in bond court on Tuesday.
