(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; Residents in Port St. Lucie are cleaning up damage after the National Weather Service confirmed an EF0 tornado touched down Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The tornado produced gust winds of 65 to 75 miles per hour, damaging homes and properties in its path.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2026\/05\/26\/tornado-warning-issued-manatee-hillsborough-counties\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2026\/05\/26\/tornado-warning-issued-manatee-hillsborough-counties\/\">Tornado touches down briefly in Parrish construction zone<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The tornado started as a waterspout over the St. Lucie River before moving over the area.
