Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies are investigating the death of a man who was found in the street near a bicycle in Pompano Beach\u2019s Liberty Park neighborhood on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue personnel and Broward deputies found the man about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest Sixth Avenue and 17th Street<\/a>. The first responders took the cyclist to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Police did not release the man\u2019s age or name.<\/p>\n

WPLG reported on-air Sunday<\/a> that the man\u2019s bike showed signs of being struck by a vehicle, but a medical incident was also being investigated.<\/p>\n

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
